簡介：　　白人警探尼克．諾爾蒂為了追查神秘的毒販"賣冰人"，不得不找當年的黑人罪犯搭檔埃迪．墨菲協助提供線索。埃迪因有一筆巨款仍寄存在尼克手上，隻好不情不願地加以幫忙，但二人在合作過程中發生多起衝突。最後，他們還是發現了賣冰人"的真正身份，原來是警察中人。全片從編劇的情節安排，到導演的動作設計，再到演員的賣力演出，處處可見台前幕後工作人員盡力使本片顯得熱鬧好看的努力，不過最終還是擺脫不了既有的框架，隻是在公式化之中轉圈圈，甚至埃迪的惹笑伎倆也顯得有點技窮了。
