八年前，一個名為堡壘的獨立全球間諜機構，被新興的犯罪集團曼提柯爾所摧毀。精英特工梅森·凱恩（理查德·麥登 飾）和納迪亞·辛格 （樸雅卡·喬普拉 飾）死裏逃生，而他們的記憶也被抹去。八年後，梅森的前同事伯納德·奧立克（斯坦利·圖齊 飾）請求他幫忙阻止曼提柯爾建立新的世界秩序。
