2020 劇情簡介：佐藤良人（NAOTO飾）的母親安江（涼飾）一個人經營著烤肉店“根岸苑”，這是亡夫留下的唯一的遺物。一個女人獨自開店，一邊養育兒子，一邊親手做出充滿愛意的料理，這對安江來說是幸福的時光，對良人來說，吃母親親手做的美食是最幸福的時候。這是深受人們喜愛的“根岸苑”，但由於人氣美食評論家古山（鬆尾諭飾）所寫的毫無根據的報道，來店光顧的客人驟減。在店鋪一點點恢複活力的時候，良人想讓一直一心忙碌工作的安江能夠照顧他，於是不久後安江就決定關店了。18年後，良人離開了家，成為一個沒有出頭之日的自由撰稿人。有一天，他與編輯竹中靜香（土屋太鳳飾）一同被任命成立隻收集“真貨”的新美食情報網站。第一彈的主題是“緣分的烤肉”。雖然良人決定接受，但是也為這份工作感到苦惱，此時他收到了關係已經疏遠了的母親安江病倒的消息。良人下不了和母親見麵的決心，通過到訪名店進行采訪的過程，他邂逅了令人懷念的“根岸苑”的味道，飽嚐了“食”，在與“人”的羈絆中了解了母親的想法，良人心中也發生了變化。
