《半生緣》劇情簡介
1930年代的上海，在同一間工廠做工的世鈞（黎明）和曼楨（吳倩蓮）成為戀人。曼楨早年喪父，姐姐曼璐（梅豔芳）為了養活一家老小，心痛離別戀人去當舞女賺錢，最終嫁給了有婦之夫祝鴻才（葛優）。
世鈞收到告急家書回到南京，方知家人召回隻為讓其成親。因為性格上的軟弱，也因久等不來曼楨的書信，世鈞最終迎娶了他並不喜歡的門當戶對的翠芝（吳辰君）。上海這邊，不能生育的曼璐為保全自已的地位，設計令曼楨懷上了祝鴻才的孩子，葬送了曼楨與世鈞的愛情。曼璐死後，曼楨為了孩子委身祝鴻才。兩個有緣無分的人就這樣錯過情緣。
