在外地晉劇團工作的夏天一番周折後調回到本地工作,這樣她便可以幫助母親照顧已經患阿茲海默症十年的父親,卻沒想到母親竟因她的歸來而感到焦慮。隨著父親病情的發展,原本以為自己會給父母帶來溫情的夏天才慢慢體會到生活的重量,卻沒想到命運的鍾擺又向她襲來......
